B.Luu, named after owner Bachmai Luu, is a haven for fashionistas in the Pasadena area and beyond. An 1100 square foot upscale boutique located at The Commons in Pasadena, the store showcases some of the most popular designers in the fashion industry and cutting edge local talent that typically only be found on the West Side and in Beverly Hills. B.Luu stocks the newest designs from lines like Alice+Olivia, Patterson J. Kincaid, Krisa, Lanston, Michael Stars, Dolce Vita, Fluxus, Sold, Hudson, AG, Ella Moss, Foley&Corinna, Dini’s Jeweled Flip Flops, AlpineStars, Jewelry by local designer Robyn Rhodes and much more.
B.Luu’s jaw dropping styles and signature warm, helpful approach to assisting customers has consistently drawn the media’s attention. As a result, B.Luu has been featured on The Style Network and in Lucky, Los Angeles Magazine, Washingtonpost.com, and the LA Weekly.
The store is a one stop-shop. Edgy tees? Check. The latest denim? Check. The perfect party dress? Check. An outfit for the date with the bad boy you know you shouldn’t be going out with? Check. Even an outfit for the date with the guy your Mom wants you go out with? Check Check.
The B.Luu experience is all about you. B.Luu’s insanely helpful staff will make it easy on you from the moment you walk in the door. The B.Luu girls will hand you a glass of champagne on the way in (and a beer to pacify the boy you have in tow), indulge your inner diva while in the store, and send you away with bags of confidence (and wardrobe) building essentials suited to your unique sense of style.
But that’s not all . . . B.Luu offers birthday and student discounts. And Bachmai always has her loyal customers on her mind. She frequently special orders selections for customers that she knows they will like – even if she is not carrying a particular item in the store. She also posts new arrivals on Facebook and sends out Twitter alerts to her devoted followers about new shipments. In short, Bachmai’s love of fashion and desire to beautify the world, one girl at a time, is evident in every aspect of her business.
And Bachmai is at once the perfect girlfriend – the kind of girl who will give you an honest opinion about the items you are considering buying, but who can also talk sports with the guy you brought in with you.
Bachmai views the store as the culmination of her life-long enthusiasm for fashion. After obtaining her MBA from Pepperdine’s Grazadio School of Business and Management, Bachmai initially put her creative talents to use in advertising. However, in 2001, her passion for all things fashion related and knack for spotting trends called her to follow her dream and open B. Luu.
